05 Lean vs. Crisis
How can I survive in future? Can "Lean" help me to master the crisis better? This is the central question of the Huppertz Report 05. With the implementation of the "Huppertz Lean Logistics System" a couple of years ago, the Huppertz Group has managed to be better prepared in facing the current worldwide economic crisis than others, who are still looking for a solution. This success is mainly due to our self-developed system based on the approach "Lean Management made in Germany". Next to the successful transmission of the primarily production-oriented Toyota Production System to logistics, some other key factors are decisive: the adaption to one’s own culture and especially the company as a "living organism". What’s essential as well is to continuously strive to avoid the most serious of all wastes: the unused creativity of employees.
