The Automotive Synchronisation Center manages international automotive logistics. Here, we receive material from the national and international suppliers, consolidate and ship the goods to assembly and production facilities all over the world. When it comes to precisely managing international material flows, we use every available mode of transport: road, rail, ocean and air. Our service portfolio is extensive. It includes customs, data warehousing on behalf of our customer, JIT distribution, time window management, and innovative empties and excess management. At Huppertz ASC, we manage international automotive logistics. Not only do we receive car parts from suppliers all over the world, but we also do all the administrative work: clearing shipments through customs, performing quality inspections and issuing/adjusting the data flows for each shipment. We consolidate the products and send them just in time to as many as 35 final destinations all over the world. The delivery process is scheduled to a high degree of precision. Inbound parts are shipped out within six to 24 hours by road, rail, sea or air for assembly. Our services include excess management, shipment tracking and tracing, complete empties management,
data management and strategic emergency buffering. In short, we do whatever it takes to optimize material and data handling processes and costs along international supply chains.
